I just want to say anyone who has thick hair that is just so unmanageable and annoying, get your stylist to thin it out with shears. It is amazing the difference! I went into a 7/11 to buy a cigar wrap. And this ghetto guy came in and tried to sell me weed. I told him I had some and I didn't want any. Then right after he walks out. A cop walks in and then ask " is everything ok". Then when I walk out another cop car pulls up. Me and my friends leave. And then one of the cop cars start following us. So we drove quick and made a right into a street then turned into an alley. A cop in normal clothing went up to me and asked me If I knew where to get "Ganja". I knew he was a cop because he just looked like one to the max. And then after I responded to him saying no sir and talking to him like he was a cop. An unmarked cop car with all tints and speacal plates( not plates I have seen before, they were a weird blue). Pulled in. Parked there, and then left. So do you think it was coincidence or a shitty sting operation. Also, I was being followed a while by cops. But they were retarded and only a blind person would not know he was being followed. So like, do you think it is the same department that was following me like retards and that's why the sting operation failed miserable, or was just coincidence?

Why am I suddenly more intolerant of the blurriness that I get when I take off my gles?

I've been mildly nearsighted all my adult life but my prescription has never gone beyond -2. I've never worn them full time but am finding that life in soft focus is becoming annoying so am wondering whether I should just keep them on. I generally wear my gles indoors as I can see better with them on but other than that I put them on and off most of the time. There are other issues to what you eat and how your body reacts to those calories, fat grams, carbos and sodium. Sounds like you should be able to drop those pounds but another questions might be do you really need to drop 5-10 pounds. You never mentioned how much you weigh. Help with 99 VW Pat oil pan change?

No matter how good you goop silicone, jb weld, or anything else on, if the parts are not clean, it will not hold or stop a leak. I would buy the gasket and use Permatex gasket sealer on it no silicone. That stuff is good and will last a long time. The manual idea is good but if you don't want to do that just remember that you can warp your replacement pan if done incorrectly. Place gasket with Permatex on it to the clean pan and block and install all the bolts to it but do not tighten at this point till all the bolts are in. Then start in the middle of the pan and work your way out in a circle pattern till all are snug. Then go back and tighten (this is where you need the manual for torque specs) to the specific torque for your engine, note over torquing can cause it to leak. Good luck!

How can i make a rubber band car using household items?

I need help making a rubber band car for a school project that has to be able to move at least 20 ft. I can only use household items and two #33 rubber bands, but i can't use mousetraps, propellers, sails, balloons, dvds, Lego's (or anything similar), cans (or anything similar), or wood/cardboard pieces. I also can't move the car in a slingshot way, and it has to have at least 3 wheels. This counts for a big part of my grade, but I don't really know a lot about making cars. Trying to lose weight but never feel full?

After i had my baby almost 2 years ago, i lost most og the pregnancy weight.But then,when my husband went back to work and i had to be the stay at home mom,it started creeping back up.After i started working a few months ago, my weight stayed under controlled,i even started losing weight.But about 2 months ago, i was out of a job again since i had to care for my daughter andnow its going back up.The thing is, i never really feel full.I try to eat a balanced meal but it never seems like enough.I get these "hunger" headaches and i get really fatigued,i even feels like i'm slobbering(i over-salivate)Could this be psychological b/c im bored and anxious looking for a job?(Which i am,b/c i hate staying home)or could it be something physical?Most importantly,what can i do to stop it.I dont want to gain any more weight,in fact i want to losw weight.Please help!! Would colored highlights look stupid on light to medium brown hair?

It depends on how you look too, in my opinion. Some people can pull off wild colored highlights no matter what color their hair is, but some it looks absolutely hideous on. Since i don't know what you look like, I think it would look best If you put some colored streaks in the under layers of your hair, but not on the top. I actually think that looks way better on anyone than highlights all over, or on the top layers.

Problems getting Windows on a computer: just MS DOS?

My dad tried to reformat a Windows 98 computer to give to my brother, however something went wrong, and windows will not go on the computer. Right now, when it starts up, there is nothing but a DOS like prompt on the screen. My brother (this is over the phone) tried the DIR *.* command and got nothing for c:drive, and a list for the a:drive (which has in it a windows boot disk apparently). Question is, he wants windows on the computer, and none of us is sure how to get it on there. I tried getting him to type "install" on the a: prompt, and I'm not sure if it worked or not. Anybody know? I'm not sure why the reformatting didn't work (perhaps my dad didn't have the disks or something, I didn't get the whole story unfortunetly).

1 Year old Maltese HELP?

My little girl Maltese who is 1 year old went into shock when she was 9 weeks old from her vaccination and her gums and tongue turned white and she almost died but she was ok. Ever since then she has been FINE and perky and bright and happy and playful. The past few months she hasn't been eating her food so we try to give her other foods and boiled chicken and we've tried a few lately. We just got a new puppy for Christmas who is a maltese and just yesterday our 1 year old was sleeping in bed with me and woke up and started vomitting and looked at me weird and was wobbling and flopped down on the bed. I took her downstairs and her gums were white so I gave her some sugar water and she started feeling a bit better. I rushed her to the emergancy vet and they put her on oxegyn, and gave her fluids under the skin, and benedryl, and took x-rays, and parvo test, etc. everything came back negetive and now I'm stuck with no answers. Her gums are not white anymore but she is sleepy, and isn't eating, and just kind of moping around. We took an other stool sample to the vet to see if it was a parasitic issue but we're waiting for the results and I wanted a second opinion so that's why I'm on here! On the evening of a mild 60-70 degree day, we returned home to find the gl deco plate on our wooden end table cracking slowly before our eyes. We noticed it because of the slow crackling and popping sounds it made as the fracture made its way across the center of the plate. It finally fell apart in two halves after about 3-4 minutes. The whole event must have taken 5 minutes total. As it was occuring I inspected it for a chip on the end where the crack began and found nothing. There was no cold draft from the front door. All else seemed stable indoors and out. Weather was perfect. What can cause this to occur, especially at this slow motion like speed?

My four year old yellow lab had a momentary lapse of judgement on Saturday night and got into a purse at my neighbors house. It is now Monday night and he just threw up sixteen cents...he threw up twice, but he only threw up change one time. Okay......so those who said to let him cry...This is very hard i feel like i am ignoring him when i do this and would rather not let him cry himself to sleep. I dont want him to feel abandoned. Also Is Co-sleeping dangerous? I think it is prudent to spend money trying to understand why volcanoes erupt when they do and why earthquakes happen when they do. Clearly people have been working on the earthquake problem for a long time and made very little progress in forecasting earthquakes, but that doesn't mean we should give up. I don't believe similar investments have been made in volcano forecasting, presumably because most eruptions have been distant from US population centers, but that doesn't mean that it will always be the case and it could be useful to expand research in that area. However, I don't think the research should be specifically oriented toward whatever minor effect climate change may have on earthquake or eruption frequency, we first just need to learn more about why these things happen when they do. If we can get some handle on the mechanics of these events we can use those results to understand what effects isotatic rebound may have on their frequency, but we need to understand the primary causes first.
