What is the best horror novel you've read and recommend?

First off I personally don't like Stephan KIng novels. They are too BLAH for me. Currently I'm reading "Frostbite" by David Wellington and I think it's pretty good. So, what is your favorite horror novel? Which book/ series do you recommend?
