Well it's hard to decide if he's a player based on that. But I totally get your concerns. It is always the man wh*re guys that sweet talk their girl "friends" like that. But if that's all you have to go on, and he's a great guy in every other aspect, then you should give him a chance. HOWEVER, sometimes we have a gut feeling about this stuff. And if that gut feeling is giving you a warning sign, maybe you should look at that. If you do date him, just be cautious and take things slow.
