I need help with ms dos in window Vista?
Windows Vista is not a shell for MS-DOS. You can however open a command prompt from Windows Vista as various others have explained: Press the Windows key on your keyboard plus the letter R. Type "cmd" without the quotes and press Enter on your keyboard. A black window will open; the command prompt. Now type "telnet student.ccbcmd.edu 21" without the quotes and you should be taken to a login prompt. If this fails with an error that the telnet command cannot be found, make sure that in the Control Panel, under Programs or Add/Remove Programs (do not know by heart how it is called in Windows Vista, but something like this), under the Windows Components, that telnet is installed.
