Would this finally sway those pesky Republicans that are in the middle to cast their vote for Senator Obama?

They say that people do not vote for the V.P., they vote for the President, so it is unlikely that whoever either candidate chooses it will matter. It is more important not to pick the wrong candidate, one who will siphon away votes.
