How do religious people who not tolerant of ity feel about being portrayed 'the wrong ones'...?

They probably watch different shows than we do. The ones I watch that show this sort of thing generally are pretty progressive in general, as far as the attitude of the main characters go. I doubt they'd find much joy in that, those that aren't as progressive, that is.
