Formatting mcript dialogue?

If you're starting new dialog on the next line, that IS creating a new paragraph, isn't it? Every time you hit the return key, you are creating a new paragraph. Every time a speaker, well, speaks, you start it on a new paragraph; it's like this for all books. Were you running them in (putting them all one line) to begin with? It sounds like the double spacing is the requirement, so you don't have a problem other than getting over how funny it looks to you. I'm not sure you have a problem.
